Show Me Christmas Lights Installation Kansas City / Odessa
Christmas Light Installation in Odessa, MO
The far east end of our I-70 route. Small-town blocks, farm properties on the edges, and a whole lot of open sky for lights to stand out against.
The I-70 corridor
East of the metro, still on the route.
The older blocks
Odessa’s original streets carry modest frame and brick houses with front porches, detached garages and mature trees. Short rooflines, straightforward access, and a porch that does most of the work.
Newer builds
Growth along the highway has added two-story family homes with attached garages and multi-gable fronts. Clean white C9 outlining is the reliable choice on that elevation.
Farm and acreage properties
Outside town the lots get large and the buildings multiply — house, barn, shop, machine shed. Lighting a farm reads best when it is simple and high: the house roofline, the drive entrance, and one big tree.
Downtown businesses
Small-town storefronts benefit disproportionately from a lit frontage in December, because there is not much competing with them after dark. We install after close and maintain through the season.
Odessa sits in Lafayette County on I-70, roughly half an hour east of Kansas City and just past Oak Grove on the same run. That makes it the eastern boundary of our regular route rather than an outlier — the truck is already going that direction each week during install season.
The one thing to plan for out here is exposure. There is very little shelter between the highway and open farmland, and December wind on flat ground is harder on a display than anything the inner metro produces. Everything gets clipped rather than taped, ground stakes go in properly, and the all-season maintenance included in every quote is genuinely used. Install, maintenance, January takedown and storage are all one price.
